Werther’s Original Golden Stories Contest

The Werther’s Original Golden Stories Contest is a giveaway sponsored by Storck USA, L.P., inviting participants to share an essay and photos of a cherished memory with a parent, grandparent, or loved one. Entrants have the chance to become finalists judged on originality and heartfelt storytelling, with up to forty-five winners receiving a personalized 24-page storybook keepsake that commemorates their special memory. The entry method is through the official contest website during the contest period from May 5 to May 26, 2025.

How to Enter the Giveaway

To enter, participants submit an online entry form including a 250 to 400-word original essay along with up to five photos that illustrate a cherished moment with a loved one. Only one entry per person is allowed during the contest period. The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C. who are at least 18 years old. After submission, entries are reviewed in two rounds of judging, first by Administrator Judges who select finalists, then by Sponsor Judges who choose winners based on originality, clarity, alignment with Werther’s brand themes, and uniqueness of the family story. Winners will be notified by email in early June. Prize winners will receive either a printed or digital personalized storybook based on their submitted essay.
