Mondelez Global LLC is sponsoring the Chips Ahoy! x Stranger Things promotion, which offers a chance to win a guitar inspired by Eddie Munson’s guitar from the show Stranger Things. This grand prize guitar is valued at approximately $4,700.
How to Enter
Participants can enter by scanning the QR code on Chips Ahoy! packaging or in-store signage with a smartphone or by visiting the promotion website directly. The first-time registrants must complete a form with their name, date of birth, and email address to receive a Sweepstakes entry. Additional entries can be earned by opting into marketing emails or mailing a request for an extra entry. A referral system on the X platform (formerly Twitter) allows participants to gain even more entries by sharing the promotion link and encouraging others to register.
Players can also engage with an augmented reality (AR) game on their mobile device to earn entries into multiple prize drawings, including the grand prize, or submit mail-in entries if they cannot access the mobile game. There is also an instant win game with a daily limit of one play per person.
Entry limits allow each person up to 150 total Sweepstakes entries during the promotional period. The promotion runs from August 11, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
Eligibility generally includes adults 18 and older located within the United States, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
Besides the grand prize guitar, the promotion awards sixty-five Tier 1 prizes consisting of a water bottle and lunch box valued at around $62, and sixty-five Tier 2 prizes including a crewneck and hat valued at $71. There are also 100 instant win prizes of a package of Chips Ahoy! x Stranger Things cookies valued at $5 each.
