Free Breakfast for Teachers at Whataburger During National Teacher Appreciation Week

Whataburger is honoring educators across the country by offering a free breakfast entrée during National Teacher Appreciation Week, running from May 5 through May 9, 2025. This gesture marks the fourth consecutive year the burger chain has shown appreciation for the lasting impact teachers make in their communities.

From Monday to Friday, teachers and school staff can visit participating Whataburger locations between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. to receive a complimentary breakfast item of their choice. Options include popular favorites like the Taquito with Cheese, Breakfast on a Bun, and the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. To redeem the offer, educators must present a valid school ID when ordering for dine-in, drive-thru, or takeout. The deal is not available through the Whataburger website or app.

Alongside the free breakfast promotion, Whataburger is also recognizing teachers through its WhataTeacher grants. As part of the celebration of its 75th anniversary, the company will award $1,000 classroom grants to 75 deserving educators, totaling $75,000 in support. These grants are part of Whataburger’s broader Feeding Student Success initiative, which focuses on advancing education and addressing Food insecurity.

Teachers interested in learning more about the celebration and grant opportunities can visit Whataburger’s official website or follow the brand on social media for updates.
